Vollsmose - A spatial planning simulation.

The booklet is a collection of the projects done by the students during the Urban design and planning studio 3 at the bachelor of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense. The students simulated a spatial planning process in a critical area in Odense called Vollsmose, which has been listed as a ghetto area (ghettolisten) since was exceeds all the criteria of the ghetto list, and it was also categorized as a hard ghetto area. With approximately 6.800 inhabitants in 2021, it represents the largest ghetto area in Denmark.
The booklet is divided into three main chapters, analysis, strategy and masterplan, which are also the three planning phases of the simulation. The idea is to promote a great job of the students and to be part of a process by giving fresh ideas on territorial issues and dynamics.
