On a warm summer’s day in 1907 Sir Nevile sat drawing in his garden when his three-year-old daughter, Guendolen, called out that she had seen a fairy disappear under a tree. To make the treasures of Fairyland visible to children Sir Nevile built a Palace for Fairy Queen Titania. Throughout his life he collected miniature antiques from across the globe to decorate Titania’s Palace.
