This past decade or so, the study of East Norse philology has been experiencing something of a renaissance. This volume contains twelve articles written by international scholars from seven different countries. Based on papers given at the Fourth International Conference for East Norse Philology held in Cologne in June 2019, this volume presents the latest research within areas such as Text Witness and Linguistics, Paleography as well as Codicology, Transmission, Adaptation, and Media Change.
