The Whale Tooth

When a missionary John Starhurst decides to carry the gospel all around Viti Levu in Fiji, he does not know how these intentions will change his life. The indigenous people still eat the flesh of their enemies, but Starhurst is not afraid – he is sure that the mission will result in good.

Jack London (1876–1916) was an American writer and social activist. He grew up in the working class, but became a worldwide celebrity and one of the highest paid authors of his time. He wrote several novels, which are considered classics today, among these 'Call of the Wild', 'Sea Wolf' and 'White Fang'.
