Here for the first time ever in one and the same book, The West Coast of Europe is presented as a whole. Author and photographer Jens Fink-Jensen has travelled along Europe?s 10,000 kilometre-long west coast from Skagen - the northernmost town in Denmark - to Gibraltar on the south coast of the Iberian Peninsula in order to depict the coast in words and photos. The West Coast of Europe is a travel story about cultural differ­ences, but which also discovers many similarities. About a shared, coherent coastal country existing across national boundaries, whose inhabitants are connected by the sea.
