The New Governance and Implementation of Labour Market Policies

During the 1990s and the early 2000s, reforms were sweeping across the OECD countries, aiming to bring about a transformation from passive to active employment and social policies. Bringing together members from the international research network RESQ, this book tries to identify how labour market policies are governed, and what new forms of governance have been introduced in various countries.

The editors Flemming Larsen and Rik Van Berkel are respectively from the Centre for Labour Market Research (CARMA) at Aalborg University and Utrecht School of Governance at Utrecht University.
