The Lonely Planet Travel Anthology

In 2016, Lonely Planet launches the first of its annual anthologies of travel writing, celebrating true tales by great writers from all over the world. Writers range from big names - in 2016 that includes Richard Ford, Cheryl Stryed and TC Boyle - to up-and-coming authors and extraordinary pieces by non-fiction specialists. The mix of 30 globe-trotting stories is extraordinary, from hilarious anecdotes to hard-hitting accounts from the edges of the world, but what they all have in common is the ability to entertain and illuminate.
