Imagine meeting a handsome man or a beautiful woman. You immediately hit it off and you might even feel like this is the one. Then imagine that your Prince Charming is in fact an actual Prince. And not just any prince, he’s the heir to the throne!

It sounds like every fairytale you’ve ever read, but for a few the fairytale came true. They met a prince or a princess, fell in love and became royal themselves. For some royal couples the road to happiness was easy and straight forward. But for others the road was tough and so very long. Some had to deal with hundreds of years of tradition; others had to win over both the royal family and the entire public. And some had to continue the fight even after they said “I do”.
