We have a network of over 200 ´inspectors´, composed of enlightened amateurs, professional golfers and journalists specializing in golf course architecture. They have anonymously worked their way around the golfing world, completing an in-depth questionnaire and adding incisive and personalized comments of their own.
Countries represented:66 countries are represented in the guide, with all manner of golf course (links, seaside, parkland etc) and all the varied types of golf club, be they private, public or resort. It is interesting to note that 36% of the courses are to be found in the United States, 28% in Europe, with the fast developing countries of Asia Pacific having 23%, leaving 13% covering the rest of the world.
