Microeconomics

Microeconomics will give readers a solid foundation in micro­economic analysis, using mathematical techniques where appropriate. The book is designed to assist the student’s learning in every way possible and contains comprehensive sets of problems and examples at all stages.

The book is divided into three parts. Part 1 deals with general price formation and the optimization of production under different market forms as well as with and without public sector intervention.

Part 2 analyses the factor markets and the housing market and in part 3 the book goes through international trade theories and the development in international trade.

Its carefully tailored content is ideal for use on the AP programmes in Marketing Management and Financial Management as well as the Professional Bachelor’s Degree in International Sales and Marketing Management and the Bachelor in Financial Management and Services programme. It is also part of the curriculum at the Diploma Programmes in Business Administration (in Danish abbreviated HD) part I.

The book forms a whole with Hans Jørgen Biede’s Macroeconomics.
