The book contains detailed analysis of the ethical problems in plastic surgery, but it also deals with a whole range of other related issues, including the effects og advertisements on body image, the problems in changing apperance to conform to social norms, plastic surgery on children with Down"s Syndrome, and the resource implications of apperance, changing interventions.
The authers are physicians, nurses, philosophers and art historians.
