In deep waters

A sudden passion. How could it happen? How do responsible people handle it? The pain, the fun - the end?
This little story was told by a very close friend during a long winter weekend in a cottage by the lake. It was cold outside, but with an on-going fire in the big fire-place and sitting - legs up - in each corner of the couch, this story had to be told till the end. Good walks in the snow outside and some food and wine on the table did not break the spell of the story told.
