Greece in the Archaic Period

Greek culture in the Archaic period flourished in many branches, every field of art benefitting from the prosperity of the city states and their foreign connections. The Glyptoteks collection contains examples of the best sculpture and vase painting, and there are fine bronzes and terracottas, as well as architectural fragments from Greek Asia Minor.
