Comics and the Global South

Original comics scholarship offering methodologies developed from the histories, artistic traditions, and socio-political contexts of comics and visual cultures from the Global South. Comics, graphic novels and webtoons are exploding in popularity across the world, with extraordinary artistic achievements emerging from the Global South and Majority World(s).
