Chronologies of the Black Sea area in the period c. 400-100 BC

In recent years there has been a renewed interest in chronological problems. In this volume 13 archaeologists present hteir contributions on the chronology of the Black Sea area, with focus on the period from 400 to 100 BC. Contributions include papers that present the chronological basis on which archaeologists currently operate, as well as papers on specific case studies where the dating of a site, a group of sites or deposits, and the reasons for the suggested dates are presented. Central issues are amphora stamps, coins and imported fine-ware pottery, together with the written source material.
