Danish concrete panel building systems have aroused considerable interest in many other countries. This book is a translation of a SBi Direction and deals with various methods applied by Danish engineers in the design of shear wall buildings. In addition information is given on the carrying capacity of concrete components and joints, based on experiments carried out in Denmark and other countries. Reference is also made to international recommendations on the design of shear wall buildings.
