New perspectives on speech in action

This publication presents a selection of the papers and posters that
were presented at the SJUSK 2013 conference, held at Copenhagen Business School in March 2013 (www.cphspeech2013.dk).

It describes spoken language phenomena from many different languages, including Modern Irish, Russian, Hungarian, Latin American Spanish, European Spanish, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, Dutch, and British English. It is our hope that the papers may contribute to the reader's understanding of the challenging diversity of speech in action.
