Morphologie élémentaire de l´ancien occitan

Une description de la morphologie, y compris la morphophonologie, de l´ancien occitan (ou ancien provençal). Elle décrit les rapports synchroniques entre les formes principales, sans toutefois citer toutes les formes figurant dans les textes. Loin d´être un simple manuel destiné à l´enseignement, cette contribution à la linguistique romane s´adresse principalement aux linguistes et aux philologues.

This book is a description of the morphology, including the morphophonology, of the Old Occitan language (Old Provencal, the language of the troubadours). It is elementary in insisting on the synchronic rules of the relationship between the forms, rather than aiming at listing all forms found in all texts. It is a contribution to Romance linguistics addressed to linguists and philologists, rather than to students at an early instruction level.
